This is the first hospital built in Cooktown in 1879.
When the new hospital was built the old hospital was given to the Jehovah's Witness .
The building was removed and relocated a few streets away . The building has been preserved and upkept beautifully.
The building is now a tourist attraction.

Saw this scene in the street and just had to take a photo.
On the left is Etlingera elatior ,torch ginger .
On the right is a cultivar of Heliconia rostrata cv. mishaulalii.
I imagine someone had just been given these ginger flowers and left them in water until they were ready to return bhome.
