This last 12 months has been steange climate wise .Last dry season was very wet, then the wet season arrived and fungi grew prolifically and caused some  rainforest trees to die with the tree killing fungus.
The Plumerias were very confused and after starting to put on new growth and come out of dofrmancy we got a period of vdry dty weather ,the Plumeria stopped their growth .A month later the wet resumed so growth began again.. Flowering began very late and even now as the trees are beginning their dormant again a few trees are putting out their first flowers.Rust has really bad  this year and caused bad leaf drop .
When the trees are dormant the they  will be drastically pruned as they have grown too tall this last year ,think the volcanic soil is the cause .

Bouganvillea flowering time is here again
